Oh man. Is anyone else feeling it this Friday? I’m exhausted, for no specific reason, and sorely lacking motivation. Hopefully, the feeling won’t last too long. Maybe I should start a new project… 😂

On another note, most of what is in this photo was either DIYed or thrifted (except for the #raedunn of course). I picked up the butterfly picture at an estate sale, and it is still one of my favorite finds. I’m looking forward to getting back to estate sale, and thrift store, shopping!

Sometimes this is hard to remember, especially in the midst of everything that is going on. But I believe that there is always, ALWAYS a small piece of happiness (at the very least) to be found in every situation.

This morning, we had the windows open, and the sounds of the birds chirping and my kids playing outside were drifting through my house. I hope the weather is lovely where you are, too.

I’m not sure there is a more accurate sentiment than this. Meet Elfie. She waltzed into our house one day 9.5 years ago and never left. 😂 And, not so secretly, we are all very glad that she stuck around.

What a difference a year makes! This one is off to

What a difference a year makes! This one is off to kindergarten in the fall. I’m not sure exactly what the coming school year is going to look like, but I’m hopeful that it will be a good experience no matter what.

I ❤️ paint. It can make SUCH a difference. Now, don’t get me wrong, this bathroom still needs a lot of work, but I am loving this quick, simple refresh we just finished. We painted cabinets, trim, and walls, added hardware, and threw in a few new decor pieces. Can you believe I found these prints at an estate sale? I paid $5 for all three, and I love them!

Even my two year old is getting a little tired of being cooped up. 🤣

I am loving this new rug I just got in. The color

I am loving this new rug I just got in. The colors are so perfect, I am thinking about ordering another one for a different space.

We’ve been working in our yard the last couple o

We’ve been working in our yard the last couple of days, and the weather has been just gorgeous. It’s so nice to be able to spend time working outside.

The backyard of our new house has a ton of potential, but it also needs a TON of work. We cleared out an overgrown bed this weekend (one of many), and a good friend brought over some bulbs from her own garden for us to plant. I can’t wait to see all of the blooms next spring!
