Do you decorate your kid’s rooms for Christmas?

Honestly, I keep things minimal in my own kids rooms. My daughter, though, is very fond of helping me decorate, and she often wants control over her own room. So, I’m not sure how long I can hold on to minimal holiday decor in her room. 😆

And even though I tend to keep it to a minimum in their rooms, I do actually incorporate a few pieces into each of their spaces.

My name of the game this particular holiday season is simplicity. I am very much enjoying simpler decor throughout my entire home this Christmas season, but I couldn’t resist putting together a few adorable Christmas prints for the kids.

I took my cues for these printables from some of the things that my own kids love, but I think many of these are universal among children.

My daughter LOVES helping decorate the tree every year. She was so excited to put it out this year, that I just had to create something with a Christmas tree in it. The colors of this printable work well for a little girls room, but are neutral enough to fit just about anything.

My son’s room doesn’t have a theme, per say, but he does have a lot of animal decor. Both of my kids adore animals of all kinds, so these little critters wishing on a star were absolutely perfect.

And, of course, what’s a child’s Christmas without Santa Claus?! I love the neutral tones of this print. It could complement just about any Christmas decor, and the kids love seeing Santa’s face up in the house for the season.

These printables are easy to print out on printer paper in the comfort of your own home. They will need to be trimmed, however, in order to fit into an 8 x 10 frame.

You could also print them on card stock for something a bit more durable, or even have them printed somewhere like Kinko’s.
