Sweet Inspiration Link Party #154

Happy Friday, friends!

I hope you all have had a wonderful week and are ready for the weekend.  The weather has been so nice here, we have been spending a lot of time outside.  I actually pulled out the water tables for my kids yesterday, much to their delight.  They were both soaked head to toe in no time and absolutely loving it.

*Little known fact – I used to be a competitive swimmer, and I have always loved the water.  So, I am thrilled that both of my kids seem to share my same love of all things water related.

Also this week, I shared a round-up of 10 Fantastic DIY Home Improvement Projects.  I love being able to improve my home with my own two hands (and sometimes my husband’s hands, and even my dad’s).  😉

The best part is, all of these projects are totally doable and budget friendly.  Win-win!

Improving your home doesn't have to cost a lot of money. With a little time and effort, you can transform practically any space. Here are 10 awesome DIY home improvement projects.

Now, on to the party.  I must say, you all did it again this week.  You brought your A-game and made it so difficult for me to choose features.  It was so hard, in fact, that I have four features for you today.  Enjoy!

I love when people post tours of their homes and gardens.  It’s always a fun glimpse into someone else’s life, and I always find inspiration within the photos.  So, naturally, I loved Lisa’s backyard garden tour.  The flowers are blooming and she has some amazing vintage items on display in her backyard.  Be sure to head over to Fresh Vintage by Lisa S to check it out!

I love granola and so does my daughter.  I also love being able to make my own food from scratch.  It saves money and allows me to know exactly what I am serving my family.  So, I was excited to see this homemade granola recipe from Chris and Melissa over at Little Frugal Homestead.  I’m looking forward to trying it out!

In this post, Pam from Pam Ecrement retells the story of Jesus’s final week here on Earth.  She walks us through each day in great detail, and challenges us with some thought provoking questions.  It’s a powerful post that I truly enjoyed.

My mouth is watering just looking at this photo.  Liberty over at B4 and Afters put these Three Layer Peanut Butter Cheesecake Brownies together for her husband’s birthday.  With my own birthday coming up ( – actually, it is today 😉 – ), I think I may have to make some of these in lieu of cake!

The most clicked link this week was from Debbie over at Debbie Dabble blog.  She shared her sweet Summer Treat Tree full of delicious and sweet ornaments.  Be sure to stop by and say hello!

  1. Amy I am so happy to see Debbie’s post as most popular. She has such a unique style and is always giving us ideas. I hope you enjoy your water table, we are getting lots of water in the form of rain this weekend. We also celebrate Easter on Sunday and that will be a rainy day too. But for us its all about the groaning table and eating and not so much the easter egg hunt. Have a great weekend!

    1. Thanks, Mary. And you’re right – I always enjoy reading Debbie’s posts. We had a ton of rain last week. I guess it has moved on to your neck of the woods. Sorry! Enjoy your Easter celebration!
