Hey, everyone! We’re back again with another great post from the Spectacular Summer Blog Hop. It feels like just yesterday that I was saying I couldn’t believe June was coming to an end. And here we are already at the end of July! This summer is truly flying by!
If this is your first time stopping by, welcome! I have teamed up with 10 other fantastic bloggers this summer to bring you a bit of sunshine and inspiration all summer long. Every Monday and Thursday, we are sharing everything from DIY projects, to recipes, to fun crafts (like today). You won’t want to miss it!
Today, Jen from over at Jenerally Informed is showing us how to make an adorable watermelon headband out of felt. At only 2 years old, I’m not sure that my daughter would tolerate a headband on her head. She does, however, pretty much insist on having a bow in her hair at all times. So, if she won’t tolerate the headband, I may use this same concept to make some new bows for her. Yay! Super cute, either way!
If you’ll remember, Jen is the one who brought us the recipe for Camp Peach Cobbler Without Camping last month. So, let’s find out a little bit more about her.
What was your first job?
Babysitting. Oodles and oodles of babysitting. When I turned 16 I snagged a pretty sweet job as a shop attendant for the clothing line Talbots and kept that job all through High School and even into College just at various locations in different states as I moved for college.
What is the last thing you do before you go to sleep?
Talk to my husband. My husband and I usually spend 10 to 15 minutes in bed chatting about our day and how the kids are doing. It’s kind of a tradition. Even when he is gone. He is still the last person I talk to at the end of the day.
Each of my co-hosts is answering different questions about Jen today. So, be sure to stop by all of their blogs to find out more about the blogger behind this fun DIY craft.
