Happy Friday, friends!
I hope you all have had a wonderful week, and I can’t believe some of you may be dealing with a blizzard in mid-April! I’ve never been a fan of the cold and snow, so a snow storm in April is just all kinds of wrong in my book. Fortunately for me, the only effects of the storm we will be seeing is a bit of rain.
Hopefully, temperatures will warm back up quickly for everyone!
We have had a fun week around here. My daughter started soccer last week, and her first game was last Friday. She is having a lot of fun, and the kids are so fun to watch at this age. She literally smiled the whole time she was on the field. 🙂 Her next game is tomorrow, and she is so excited about it.
Also, this past week, I joined with a group of bloggers to kick off our Thrift Store Transformation Tuesday series. The second Tuesday of every month, we will each be bringing you a thrift store transformation – which you all know I love. I’m excited to come up with something every month, as well be inspired by what everyone else has done.
This month, I chose to transform a few bud vases by painting them for spring. Be sure to check it out, and see what I learned during the process.
And now, let’s party!
The party starts on Fridays 7am EST or 11 am GMT and runs until Tuesday. By joining us every week you will be able to grow your blog and gather inspiration from so many others who link up to our party. We hope you will join us every week to share and inspire with your projects and creations.
I love this spring poem by Robert Frost that Amy from A Day of Small Things shared this week. She also shared some snapshots of her adorable Easter decor. Be sure to stop by and say hello.
This adorable twig heart art piece came from Julie over at Sum of Their Stories. I absolutely love it, and I think my daughter would really enjoy helping to make one of these herself. So, I’m looking forward to some craft time in the near future. 🙂
As a professional pianist, I am a sucker for anything music related. So, I just adore this little hummingbird card that Linda from Paper Seedlings has created. Everything about it is just perfect!
The most popular this week is this recipe for Fontina Stuffed Pork Chops with Sweet Pepper Sauce from Chasing My Life. If you haven’t already checked it out, you will definitely want to!
