Hey, friends! How in the world is it November already?! (I’m pretty sure I said that last month, as well, when we rolled over into October.) This year is just flying by! I’m afraid that if I blink, I’ll miss the next two months altogether.
The final week of October was a lot of fun for us. We took our kids to a big farm/pumpkin patch on Saturday, and then to our church’s trunk or treat on Sunday. They had a blast at both, and the weather was absolutely amazing. My daughter had a little Halloween party at school on Wednesday, and we were able to sneak in about 40 minutes of trick or treating before the rain started on Halloween night. This was the first year that my 3-year old really understood the concept of trick or treating, and she had so much fun.
I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween. I also hope you are ready to party!
The party starts on Fridays 7am EST or 11 am GMT and runs until Tuesday. By joining us every week you will be able to grow your blog and gather inspiration from so many others who link up to our party. We hope you will join us every week to share and inspire with your projects and creations.
Melissa from Welsh Design Studio gave us a lovely peak at what colors will be trending next year. I’m so happy to see that one of my favorites will be there plus a few more that are totally gorgeous.
You know how much I love to use epoxy resin for painting or to embellish everyday items. This pencil holder from Sheri at Hazel+Gold Designs stole my heart and I am dreaming of how I will make one for my desk!!!
I absolutely love a good book suggestion. I don’t have a ton of time to read anymore with two tiny little people running around, but when I do have a bit of time, a good book is the first thing I go to. So, I can’t wait to check out these suggestions from Tiffany over at A Nod to Navy.
I’m in love with this look! It doesn’t take much to make – except for a lot of patience in tying the rags, but the end results are so beautiful – a gorgeous full rag wreath with a lovely sign that enhances it all! Just perfect for Fall!
If there is one drink I cannot resist it is Bailey’s Irish Cream Liquor. And if it is combined with pumpkin then you have the perfect fall drink, according to me! Head on over to Living on Cloud Nine, where Andrea has the full recipe.
The most popular post this week was this fantastic collection of sweet potato recipes from Leslie over at From Play Dates to Parties. Both of my picky eaters actually like sweet potatoes, so I will definitely be testing some of these out in the coming weeks!
