Happy Friday, everyone! We have less than a week left of the month of October. Can you believe it?! I know I certainly can’t. This month has flown by, and I am positive that the next couple of months will be the same.
Our church has it’s own pumpkin patch every year, and they host a fun “Picnic in the Patch” for all members during the month of October. They provide fun things for the kids like a huge bounce house, petting zoo, horse rides, and train rides, as well as lunch for everyone. We went this past Sunday, and the kids had a ball. My daughter rode the train a couple of times, and both kids were enamored with all the animals. My daughter also picked out the most perfect pumpkin for carving all on her own.
Tomorrow, we will be going to a big farm with a much larger pumpkin patch and tons of activities for the kids. We’re all looking forward to it! What are your plans for the weekend?
Besides partying, of course!
The party starts on Fridays 7am EST or 11 am GMT and runs until Tuesday. By joining us every week you will be able to grow your blog and gather inspiration from so many others who link up to our party. We hope you will join us every week to share and inspire with your projects and creations.
I just love the way that Laura from Not a Trophy Wife styled her oh so gorgeous “Girly Pumpkin”. Those faux furry leaves are just the best and look so good against the navy.
If you like the perfect velvet pumpkins you see but you cannot afford the price there is a great tutorial so you can make them all by yourself. Julie from My Wee Abode gives us so many details and tips to make these beauties.
I love this post from Kari at A Grace-Full Life. In today’s fast paced, and social media obsessed, society, we are often putting self-care on the back burner, and suffering the consequences of it. Kari tells us why it’s so important to take care of ourselves, and gives some great suggestions on just how to relax.
My hubby loves everything raisins and I’m always on the lookout for different kinds of raisin recipes! This one from Stacie @Simply Stacie looks delicious and filled with lots and lots of raisins! I might surprise hubby by making these yummy looking Sour Cream Raisin Bars!
I look forward to Christmas each year like a little kid. And I’m always on the lookout for things to repurpose or upcycle into Christmas decor. So when I saw this adorable vintage horse painted all up for Christmas by Leanna of Faeries and Fauna you know I was smitten!
The most popular post this week are these absolutely darling Hansel and Gretel houses from Laura over at Decor to Adore. You have to head over and see how she transformed a basic Target dollar spot item into these fabulous houses!
