Did you all have a nice holiday weekend? We had a fairly relaxing weekend, although it was still sweltering hot outside. We took advantage of the heat, though, and took the kids to a nearby splash park. Both of my kids love the water, so everyone had a blast.
Even better than the splash park, though, is the fact that it has actually cooled off a few degrees around here. It was downright pleasant outside last night. Yay! I admittedly hate the cold, but the extreme heat also gets tiresome after awhile. So, like many, I’m looking forward to the somewhat cooler temperatures of fall.
Anyway, enough about the weather, and on to the reason you are all here – to PARTY!
The party starts on Fridays 7am EST or 11 am GMT and runs until Tuesday. By joining us every week you will be able to grow your blog and gather inspiration from so many others who link up to our party. We hope you will join us every week to share and inspire with your projects and creations.
My baby girl, who’s not so little any more has never been a big fan of meat so this home made vegan pizza that Lina from Sew Historically makes is right up her alley. And I bet the rest of the family is going to love it too.
For a quick bedroom refresh, there is no need to move furniture, replace light fixtures, or repaint the room. You can just make your bed like a pro using beautiful pillows, duvets or coverlets. Just read this post at LollyJane and I am sure you can find lots of tips to use.
I love easy DIY crafts, and this week, I am totally digging these paper clay roses from Michele at Coastal Bohemian. I never would have guessed they were so simple to make, and there’s so much you could do with them. The possibilities are endless! If you haven’t already, be sure to stop by.
Kate at The Organized Dream shares with us a tutorial on making wall art by stenciling on canvas with the sweetest, romantic saying ever! Are you curious? Be sure to check her out – she helps to “make life pretty!”
In this day and age of technology, we forget the power of a simple smile.

The most popular post this week goes to Cindy from County Road 407. I absolutely love her tips for transitioning into fall decor without going “all-in” just yet. It’s perfect for those areas of the country that really don’t feel like fall yet.
