Fun DIY Halloween Wreath
Don’t you just adore Halloween decor? I know I do! And if you are anything like me, then you are going to flip over this super cute (and easy!) DIY Halloween Wreath.
I love decorating for Halloween – even more so than Christmas. Now, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore Christmas and the whole Christmas season. But there is just something so fun about all of the spooky, witchy, ghostly decorations. I do have to be careful in my house, though, as my 2 year old is easily spooked. Fortunately, this super fun DIY halloween wreath that I put together has not been a problem.
This wreath was such a breeze to put together. It requires minimal supplies, only about 15 minutes of your time, and it turned out so cute. I love a craft that gives you a lot of bang for your buck, and this one definitely fits the bill.

Supplies Needed:
Step 1 – Paint
The first thing I would recommend is to spray paint the foam wreath black. I actually didn’t do this, but I wish that I had. There are some spots on my wreath where I have to adjust the feathers just right to make sure that no white shows through. If I had simply painted the base black, this wouldn’t be a problem.
Step 2 – Hot Glue
After the paint has dried, hot glue an end of one of the feather boas to the wreath. Then, wrap the boa around the wreath until you reach the end of it. I wrapped my first boa so that it covered half of the wreath. Glue the other end down.
Repeat this simple process with the other boa, so that the whole wreath is wrapped in feathers.
Step 3 – Dismantle Floral Stem
Then, I dismantled my Halloween bush. You will want to keep a bit of a stem on each piece because you will be sticking it into the foam. Some of the pieces I cut off with wire cutters.
I had to unwrap some of the other pieces from the pick in order to get a long enough stem on them.
Step 4 – Arrange
Then, I laid all of the pieces out on the wreath in order to figure out how I wanted to arrange it all. Once you are happy with your arrangement, simply stick the stem well down into the foam.
Step 5 – Add a Hanger
Finally, I used a small piece of wire to wrap around the wreath in order to create a hanger. The feathers will easily cover the wire, so it won’t be visible at all.
That’s it! An adorably spooky DIY Halloween wreath.
Happy Halloween!
What a beautiful Halloween wreath! Using the feather boas is so clever. You added just enough pops of color with the adorable little witch hats, and the floral sprigs. Super cute!
Thanks, Linda! It was so easy to make and is just so fun. 🙂
